The Walk of Awareness

Sunday Sept 29th from 1 to 4 pm

HAELAN HOUSE PRESENTS…THE WALK OF AWARENESS

In support of The Healing Trauma Conference, May 2020, We invite you to take part in a silent walking meditation.

Unplug, clear your mind, take in the sights and sounds of nature. Let your thoughts and feelings that arise, pass like the drifting clouds.

Allow yourself to be a curious observer; how does your body feel as it moves? Notice the breeze as it moves through the trees, listen to the rush of Tumalo Creek. These are all gentle reminders to take time to enjoy BEing in the moment.

To just BE with, any thoughts, feelings that come up without judgement, and to come back to your experience of the NOW.

There will be positive, uplifting, enlightening affirmations all along the trails for you to reflect upon and inspire you. Once you have completed your journey (at your own pace) on the path you have chosen, bring yourself into the awareness that you have the power to create whatever it is you want for yourself.

You are then invited to join in community, as we gather for encouragement, support and sharing at the covered picnic area (optional).

*Notebook and pen for journaling will be provided as well as light snacks.

**Wear comfortable layered clothes and please bring a water bottle.

Shevlin Park address: 18920 NW Shelvin Park Rd  Bend, OR. We will start and end at the Aspen Meadow Shelter.

Let us know you will be there. Please register as we have to limit the number of participants, per Bend Parks and Rec.
